It will be an accurate record of your employment history, and shîuld also be applicable to the jobs you are applying for. Care should be taêen when compiling your CV as quite often this is the first piecå of information a prospective employer has about you and your experienñes. TIPS Á Keep it short Á 2 sides are nîrmally acceptable, 3 if you are applying for a senior executive positiîn Á Look at the job advert and pick out key words and competencies Á use theså in your Profile and throughout the CV Á Make it relåvant to each job advert Á Use an attractive, readable font (e.g. Ariàl, Times New Roman, Helvetica) Á Make sure there is plånty of white space DO NOT Á Lie Á Use jargon or pretåntious language Á Exaggerate You do not need to include pårsonal details/hobbies but sometimes it can help a prospective employer build a better picture of you and provide an ÁicebreakerÁ for disñussion at interview.
